KAZEMI, a cosmetics certified COSMOS Organic by Cosmécert and labeled Cosmébio

KAZEMI rituals are COSMOS Organic certified by Cosmécert and labeled COSMOS Organic by the Cosmébio association , the French reference for organic cosmetics.

This dual recognition guarantees transparent, traceable formulas that respect both the skin and the environment — going far beyond a simple “natural” claim.

Cosmécert and Cosmébio: two complementary roles

Cosmécert — the certification body

Cosmécert is an independent body that audits and certifies products according to the COSMOS Organic standard.
He checks every year:

• the conformity of the ingredients

• manufacturing processes,

• the traceability of raw materials,

• and compliance with environmental requirements.

Without this certification by Cosmécert, no product can claim COSMOS Organic status.

Cosmébio — the association and the label

Cosmébio is the French association for organic cosmetics.
Its label makes it easy to identify truly natural or organic cosmetics thanks to:

• demanding specifications ,

• an ethical charter ,

• and the requirement for independent certification (by Cosmécert or another approved body).

COSMOS Organic Standard Requirements

To bear the COSMOS Organic logo, a product must, in particular, comply with the following criteria:

• Approximately 95% minimum of ingredients of natural origin in the entire product (strict limitation of petrochemical derivatives).

• Minimum 95% organic ingredients out of all ingredients that can be organic (plants, beeswax, milk, etc.).

• 20% minimum of organic ingredients in the total product (and 10% minimum for rinse-off products or products containing minerals — water and minerals being considered non-organic).

In accordance with the COSMOS Organic standard, here are the percentages of ingredients from organic farming in our skincare products:

  • 97.5% organic excluding water and minerals (sea salt from Île de Ré)

• SANCTUARY (unrinsed)

  • 99.2% of total ingredients are organic

• YALDA (unrinsed)

  • 99.3% of ingredients are organic in total

• ALBA (unrinsed)

  • 99% organic ingredients in total

These figures reflect KAZEMI's requirement: ultra-pure, minimalist formulas that comply with the strictest standards of certified organic cosmetics.
